Research on the urban renewal of the Oude Westen district in Rotterdam was presented in a series of projects under the framework of “West Side Stories” at the Office for Metropolitan Information (OMI), between November 21 to December 22 2019 - a collaboration with ArchitectuurMaken (Nina Aalbers & Ferry ‘T Veld), Studio Verter (Roxane van Hoof & Claudio Saccucci) and Charlie Koolhaas.

For West Side Stories 1 Charlie Koolhaas recorded the neighbourhood in photographs and produced a photographic map of the district.
For West Side Stories 2 Charlie’s created a series of photo-sculptures of the Oude Westen.
