Marking the launch of Charlie Koolhaas's Metabolism Trip book, this exhibition exhibited the photographs from the book in an installation designed by Japanese architect Shohei Shigematsu in `the Koko gallery in Tokyo.

in this installation, the Metabolism buildings hung through the interior of the Koko gallery, prints whose mirrored backs reflected the buildings in the photographs so that they surrounded the viewer.

Metabolism Trip is a book of photographs and short stories documenting Charlie Koolhaas's journey through the remaining buildings of the Metabolist Movement. A non-western avant-garde, launched in Tokyo in 1960, in the midst of Japan’s postwar miracle.
